Helen Carr (MFA) is a sculptor whose work involves installation and objects in response to space. Her practice is situated at the cross section between art and design practice - recognising the fluid boundary between these areas. She has an open minded, intuitive, approach to working with materials that capture natural light, reflection and colour - creating shifts that transform our perception of space and encourage a state of contemplative reflection. The stripped back, gestural works invite the viewer to observe the temporality of light, continually shifting and offering each viewer a unique experience.
